BBC crisis: MPs criticise payout to Entwistle

MPs have criticised the £450,000 pay-off given to outgoing Director General George Entwistle, who resigned at the weekend over his handling of failures at Newsnight.

Acting Director General Tim Davie has vowed to "get a grip" of the crisis within the corporation and the director and deputy director of news have "stepped aside" pending a review.

Mark Easton reports.
