Flooding: Wallington river levels prompt emergency evacuation

Severe weather is causing major disruption in parts of England, Wales and Scotland.

The Met Office is expecting more rain and the Environment Agency has issued more than 50 flood warnings and 250 flood alerts.

There is a severe flood warning for the River Wallington in Hampshire after cracks appeared in a river flood wall.

But the BBC's Peter Henley said that residents have been told that they can return to their homes after the high tide failed to push through flood defence systems.
