Woolwich attack: Security increased at London barracks

Security has been stepped up at army barracks across London, following the killing of a man with a machete in south-east London, the home secretary has confirmed.

Theresa May confirmed that there were "strong indications" that the attack in Woolwich "was an act of terrorism."

A second meeting of the government's emergency response committee, Cobra, will take place on Thursday morning.
