Part of M25 closed after crane crashes into safety barrier

Part of the Surrey stretch of the M25 was closed after a mobile crane hit a safety barrier.

The carriageway was shut at about 10:15 BST between junction 9 at Leatherhead and junction 8 at Reigate. Two lanes were re-opened at 11:00.

The Highways Agency warned drivers to expect "severe delays" on the anti-clockwise part of the motorway.
