Firefighters strike: Workers stage four-hour walk out

Firefighters across England and Wales have staged a four-hour strike in a dispute over changes which would see workers required to continue until 60 before receiving a full pension.

The Fire Brigades Union said 32,000 of its 41,000 members went on strike against government plans to bring firefighters in line with other emergency workers.
