Pavlo Lapshyn 'extremely dangerous individual' - Police
A Ukrainian student has been jailed for life for the murder of an 82-year-old man and planning explosions near three mosques in a series of racist attacks.
Pavlo Lapshyn, 25, stabbed Mohammed Saleem in Small Heath, Birmingham on 29 April, five days after arriving in the UK.
Following sentencing, Assistant Chief Constable Marcus Beale, of West Midlands Police, described Lapshyn as an "extremely dangerous individual" driven by "an extreme right-wing ideology".
