Modern Slavery Bill: Focus 'must be on victims'
Labour MP Frank Field, who chaired a review into modern slavery in the UK, has said "the overwhelming case is for a new deal for victims of slavery".
His comments came ahead of the publication of his findings and the unveiling, by the Home Office, of draft anti-slavery legislation.
Campaigners have suggested that the focus of the Modern Slavery Bill is "too narrow" but Home Secretary Theresa May insists that victims are at the heart of the plans.
