Lifeboat crews rescue lost dog, swept out to sea
Lifeboat crews have rescued a Labrador dog that was believed to have drowned off the Norfolk coast in eastern England, after she was swept away on Sunday morning.
The dog's owner had enlisted the help of two kayakers to try to find her, but when they failed he had gone home to break the bad news to his wife.
The volunteer crews from Happisburgh were diverted from a training exercise to search for the dog, which they found alive - if cold and wet - on a reef about half a mile off the coast.
