Cornwall landslip: Boy, 10, behind Marine car rescue plan

Dozens of cars stranded by a landslip in Cornwall are being recovered by the Royal Marines, thanks to a plan hatched by a 10-year-old.

Charlie Southcott suggested asking the marines for help after meeting a senior officer at a carol service.

The vehicles have been trapped at Calstock since Christmas day, but are being removed using a landing craft.

John Kay reports.
