Tribute to Hillsborough disaster's youngest victim

The mother of the Hillsborough disaster's youngest victim has said he would have been ''very proud'' of his cousin, England Captain Steven Gerrard.

A statement from the 10-year-old's mother, Jacqueline Gilhooley, was read out at the inquests into the deaths of 96 Liverpool fans 25 years ago.

She paid tribute to ''a beautiful child'' who ''wasn't just a victim of Hillsborough''.

Dr Dorothy Griffiths also read a statement about her brother, Vincent Michael Fitzsimmons, and Rebecca Shah paid tribute to her mother, Inger Shah.
