Friend of hostage Alan Henning appeals for his release

A friend of Alan Henning, the British man held hostage by militants from the group calling itself Islamic State, has appealed for his release.

Majid Freeman was on the same aid convoy when Mr Henning was captured in Syria in December last year.

He spoke to BBC Asian Network Reporter Catrin Nye.
