London cyclist killed by tipper truck

Cycling safety campaigners say vehicles designed for construction sites should be banned from London's roads, following the death of a cyclist during rush hour.

The woman, in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene after the collision with a tipper truck in Victoria Street on Thursday morning.

The crash happened close to where University College London scientist Katharine Giles was killed in April 2013.

Yvonne Hall reports.
