Battle of Waterloo to be re-enacted, 200 years on

More than 5,000 enthusiasts in period uniforms are preparing to stage a re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo to mark its 200th anniversary.

A memorial to the fallen is to be unveiled at Hougoumont Farm - an Allied strongpoint that saw some of the fiercest fighting.

British troops defending it managed to resist all attempts by Napoleon to capture it and helped pave the way for Wellington's victory.

Robert Hall reports.
