UK Guantanamo detainee Shaker Aamer 'force-fed' in detention

The final British resident being held in Guantanamo Bay, Shaker Aamer, is to be returned to the UK after 14 years in the facility.

Moazzam Begg, who was also held in the Cuban detention centre, said Mr Aamer had been "force-fed" while he was detained.

Mr Begg also said that guards at the camp smashed Mr Aamer's head "repeatedly against a wall", and that he "lost more than half his body weight" while in Guantanamo.
