Fighting IS: 'Britain's eyes over Syria'

One year since the RAF began combat missions against so-called Islamic State militant targets in Iraq, ministers are considering whether to authorise such missions in Syria.

The Ministry of Defence estimates that airstrikes have so far succeeded in killing more than 330 IS fighters.

The BBC's Jonathan Beale is the first journalist to have the opportunity of joining an RAF Sentinel spy plane crew carrying out surveillance over Iraq and Syria.
