Chelsea pensioners move in to new refurbished rooms

The Chelsea Pensioners have had their accommodation refurbished, modernising the living quarters and ensuring they all have en-suite bathrooms.

The home at the Royal Hospital Chelsea for retired service personnel has been in existence for 300 years.

Tim Muffet spoke to Harry Laxton, a veteran and one of the residents, and Simon Bate, an adjutant at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
