Put calorie counts on alcohol, councils say

Breweries and alcoholic drink companies should introduce calorie count signs on all bottles and cans, according to the Local Government Association (LGA).

The LGA, which represents nearly 400 councils, says the effect of hidden calories is contributing to an obesity crisis.
