School adopts 'no shoes' policy to improve concentration

A Dorset school is letting pupils take their shoes off in lessons to help improve concentration.

Children at The Isle of Portland Aldridge Community Academy only wear shoes in the technology lab and there is footwear available when they visit the bathroom.

Shoe-less learning is already being carried out in schools in Scandinavia and New Zealand.
