Flood defence scheme in Rye uses kitchen cast-offs

A flood defence scheme in Sussex is using cast-off stone from a Norwegian kitchen unit company to defend residents.

The scheme in Rye will cost £10m and is part of a flood defence programme to protect the East Sussex coastline.
