Lincolnshire Police steps up work to tackle legal highs

"A dramatic increase" in the number of teenagers being treated for the effects of using legal highs has prompted Lincolnshire Police to increase work to tackle the problem.

Robert Forrest, senior coroner for South Lincolnshire, said: "Some can have unpleasant hallucinations, some can kill you and some can make you feel very depressed."

Officers are this week visiting schools and colleges in the county to make teenagers aware of the dangers.
