Fly-tipper dumps three tonnes of waste in South Croydon road

A van driver dumped three tonnes of building waste in the middle of a road while driving along a residential street in South Croydon.

The fly-tipper was caught on a resident's CCTV camera dropping the load of rubble, plaster and wood on Croham Manor Close last month.

Croydon Council said the Ford Transit van involved had been seized.

However, environmental enforcement officers are still searching for the driver, who they call their "number one target fly-tipping offender".
