London 2012: Paralympian Sophie Christiansen travels to Olympic Park

It has been 10 years since the London Paralympics took place and it has been hailed by some as playing a key role in improving the lives of disabled people.

But just how much did it change?

Sophie Christiansen is one of Great Britain’s most successful Paralympians of all time.

A decade on from the Games, she travelled back to the Olympic Park to highlight the challenges faced while navigating London's public transport network.

Transport for London (TfL) said travellers need to tap in and out fully at the barriers, and added there was no requirement to book a ramp when using the Elizabeth Line as they operate a 'turn up and go' service.

TfL has also asked people what they want to prioritise in terms of accessibility across the network.
