Wendy house 'breaches planning regulations'
A mother has been told she needs planning permission for her daughter's Wendy house - because it is so tall.
Wendy Ashworth, from Wythenshawe, Manchester, bought the deluxe garden play set - which stands at 3.2m (10ft 6in) - for five-year-old Amy during the summer, according to the Manchester Evening News, external.
The city council has since written to Ms Ashworth informing her the play house breached planning regulations.
It said there are rules about buildings in gardens and anyone planning a development of any size should take advice first.
