The Bible in wool: Salvation Army group knit religious epic
A branch of the Salvation Army has knitted 70ft (21m) of Bible stories, including such yarns as the Crucifixion and the feeding of the five thousand.
Twenty-eight women from the Warrington church have spent 10 months creating numerous scenes, making 380 figures and 60 sheep along the way.
One knitter said she had made about 40 angels, while another said the work had "brought us all together".
After proving popular at the church, there are plans to show it at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.
