Teen has 'life-changing' surgery

An 18-year-old who was told he would never stand or walk on his own has undergone what doctors say is potentially life-changing surgery at Liverpool's Alder Hey hospital.

Josh Dunn, from Chester, has a form of cerebal palsy called spastic diplegia.

It is hoped Mr Dunn, a wheelchair basketball player and Paralympic torch ambassador at London 2012, may be able to take his first steps after physiotherapy.
