Liverpool Blitz: WW2 footage emerges of Nazi plans
Rare footage of German plans to bomb Liverpool during World War Two has emerged.
The Nazi Luftwaffe made about 80 air raids on Merseyside between 1940 and 1942,, external reaching their peak in a seven-night blitz in May 1941.
A bomber's handbook and footage showed pilots how to find their targets across the strategically vital port, which led to Liverpool becoming the most heavily bombed British city outside London.
