Fly-tipping: North West councils spend £7m on waste removal

Fly tipping across the North West costs councils £7m a year to clear up.

Liverpool has been hit hardest, due to a number of illegal waste dumps which have appeared in the city over the summer.

So far the council has spent £1m removing the waste.
