Ear implant woman Joanne Milne hears dawn chorus
When Joanne Milne heard a human voice for the first time, millions of people shared the moment after her mother filmed it on a mobile phone.
The 39-year-old from Gateshead was born deaf, but was able to hear thanks to cochlear implants.
One of her ambitions was to listen to a dawn chorus.
BBC sound recordist Chris Watson invited her to share the sounds of the early morning in Gateshead's Saltwell Park.
