Mowbray Park 'veterans' walk' to remember soldiers' actions
The father of a soldier who died in combat in Afghanistan has launched a project to remember soldiers' actions.
Nathan Cuthbertson from Sunderland was killed by a suicide bomber in 2008, and his father Tom is determined to keep his memory alive.
Mr Cuthbertson has launched a "veterans' walk" in Mowbray Park, where relatives can buy and erect stone plaques to commemorate the actions of their loved ones, whether currently serving or who have served in the past.
