Becky Godden's father 'mentally scarred' by police work

Becky Godden's father, John Godden, told reporters he blamed Steve Fulcher as much as Christopher Halliwell for him being left "mentally scarred".

The former detective failed to caution Halliwell when he originally confessed to Becky's killing, several years ago, which meant the prosecution had to be dropped until further evidence was found.

Halliwell was already serving a life sentence for the murder of Sian O'Callaghan and today received a whole life order for Becky's murder.
