NI education system is 'seriously underfunded' says review chairman
The chair of a wide-ranging review into Northern Ireland's education system had said its funding problems are the first thing that needs to be fixed.
Dr Keir Bloom chaired the Independent Review of Education, which published its recommendations on Wednesday.
He told BBC News NI that Northern Ireland fairs badly for education funding when compared to other parts of the UK and Ireland.
The report found education budgets need to increase by £291m annually.
