Barn owl surprise after 'strange noises' heard
The discovery of four barn owl chicks who took their first flight in December is hard to believe, a conservationist has said.
The chicks were found at Ballycruttle Farm, near Downpatrick in County Down, in November.
Fledging - learning to fly - happened a month later.
Katy Bell from Ulster Wildlife said it was "exciting news" and her team were "ecstatic" to welcome in the four healthy chicks.
