UK economy faces a 'year of stagnant growth' - Balls

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has said he hopes the UK economy will not face a double dip recession but warns it could face a year of "stagnant growth".

Treasury Minister Justine Greening said the coalition believed that a vibrant private sector would help create growth.

Andrew Neil challenged the former Labour leadership contender Ed Balls over comments he made about Alistair Darling's recovery plans being a mistake.
