Phone hacking: James Murdoch on News of the World closure

James Murdoch explained why he thought it was the "right choice" for News International to close its News of the World newspaper after the phone hacking allegations.

He said: "This was a paper, and a title, that had fundamentality violated the trust of its readers."

The News International chairman went on to say how the firm was helping the "blameless" staff who were facing the loss of their job.
