Syria on edge of civil war, warns William Hague

The Foreign Secretary has confirmed that al-Qaeda linked terrorists have become embroiled in Syria's violence.

Speaking to the House of Commons, William Hague condemned atrocities committed by both sides and warned that Syria was sliding towards civil war.

He likened the situation in Syria to Bosnia in 1990s.
