Labour conference: Harriet Harman on Ed Miliband

Labour's deputy leader said a lot of people do not know Ed Miliband, but the party conference would be a "important week and important opportunity" to show that he he was "in touch... strong and robust"

She claimed he had "put together a very strong team" which was up against a "shambles" in David Cameron's cabinet.

She spoke to Andrew Neil from the party conference in Manchester and was asked about polling released by the Tories showing three in four thought the Labour leader did not have what it takes to be Prime Minister.

The debate followed a Sunday Politics film from Manchester
