Grant Shapps on boundary review and Michael Green

The Conservative Party chairman said he had not given up on the proposed view of Parliamentary boundaries, despite his coalition partners withdrawing support.

Grant Shapps said the revised seats would be "right and fair" but denied he was in secret talks with the Liberal Democrats to get them through Parliament.

He also ruled out future pacts with the Lib Dems and UKIP, as he spoke to the Andrew Neil about his party's priorities for the second half of the current Parliament, expected to end with a general election in 2015.

He described himself as "fairly eurosceptic" as he spoke about a possible referendum about the UK's future relations with the EU. And he was also asked about his alter-ego "Michael Green".
