EU referendum: IPPR's Will Straw calls for in/out vote
Britain needs to be bold on Europe, said Will Straw who listed his European credentials before saying "we have to decide if we want to be in or out" in his authored film for BBC One's This Week.
While none of the three largest political parties are pushing for an in/out referendum soon, the europhile from the IPPR think tank said it "looked inevitable" there would have be a referendum about Europe in the UK.
He drew a comparison with the referendum to be put to Scottish voters on independence.
