EU referendum: David Lidington on Conservative policy

David Cameron has "no secret plot to get Britain out of the EU", said Europe minister David Lidington.

The Tory MP said "dramatic change is already taking place in Europe, and Europe is going to change further".

He spoke to Andrew Neil about a past Tory referendum pledge on the Lisbon Treaty, and why some junior figures in the party lost their positions after they previously called for a referendum.

And the minister claimed there was a majority in his party who "want to be part of a European club".
