David Cameron elaborates on Britain's EU budget deal
David Cameron has been telling MPs more about the "good deal" that he says he delivered for Britain at EU budget negotiations.
Speaking in the House of Commons, the Prime Minister said Britain's rebate remained untouched despite it having been "attacked repeatedly".
He said the quality of British universities meant their share of the budget had increased.
But he added it was "disappointing" that administrative costs were still around 6% of the total budget and that "reform of EU spending is a long-term project".
