Sadiq Khan on economy and jail sentences for burglars
Labour has not yet won back the confidence of the British people and "we need to persuade them we can be trusted with the economy", the shadow justice secretary has said.
Sadiq Khan said its planned mansion tax "would make life easier for hard working people" with a revived 10p tax rate, that Labour first introduced and then abolished and now wants to bring back.
He spoke to Andrew Neil after watching a Sunday Politics film on voters' views of Labour's economic plans.
Mr Khan also spoke to Andrew Neil about sentences for burglars, votes for prisoners, the Eastleigh by-election and the chances of him being a future Labour candidate for mayor of London.
