Labour: Childcare plan will not help families soon enough

Shadow Education Secretary Stephen Twigg has said that government plans for parents to claim back up to 20% of childcare costs from 2015 are 'jam tomorrow' when parents need help today.

Mr Twigg said that the money being put into the scheme did not match the amount of support parents have already lost under government cuts.
