Budget 2013: Farage on spending and tax thresholds
UKIP's leader said there were some measures to welcome in George Osborne's Budget, such as a cut in beer duty.
But Nigel Farage said the rise in the income tax threshold should have been closer to £10,000, and ideally to £13,000, around the level of the minimum wage.
He called for a cut in payments for the EU, foreign aid and to quangos where he claimed people were paid for doing "frankly not every much".
And he said a Labour Budget would "not have been very different" to the Conservative chancellor's speech.
