GDP: Ed Balls on UK economy and US stimulus lessons

The government has got to change course after three years of a flat-lining economy, the shadow chancellor has said.

Ed Balls claimed the coalition government was doing "long-term damage", and it should be building houses and getting young people back to work as he looked at lessons from the US economy.
