Iain Duncan Smith: Rich pensioners 'should return benefits'
Wealthy pensioners, who do not depend upon universal benefits, should decide whether to return them, the work and pensions secretary has said.
In a newspaper interview Iain Duncan Smith said he would "encourage" elderly people to forego free TV licences, help with fuel bills and free travel if they didn't require financial support.
Deputy PM Nick Clegg said the suggestion did "not make sense".
