PMQs: Harman questions Cameron absence from Westminster
David Cameron's absence at PMQs was questioned by Labour's deputy leader who asked why David Cameron had only answered questions once from MPs in the last eight weeks.
Harriet Harman teased that he was riding a London bus in New York, which he rarely did in Britain, and was taking questions in the White House about Britain's future in Europe when he should be in Westminster.
She said to Nick Clegg, who was standing in for Mr Cameron: "This is meant to be prime minister's questions".
But the Liberal Democrat leader laughed at her "penetrating insight" for asking three questions about the PM's absence.
He claimed Mr Cameron had been "unusually assiduous" in coming to the House, saying Ed Miliband should be relieved after his performance in a recent Radio 4 interview.
