The US government has been showing "a kind of incompetence", said the Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney who reckoned its behaviour was "very dissembling and mendacious.''
He reckoned whistleblowers Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning were the "good guys,'' as "they were telling us honestly about lies that the government is telling the citizens."
