Lords-a-leaving ahead of Syria debate

There is always a flow of peers in and out of the House of Lords when one piece of business ends and another begins.

The flow was captured on camera as peers' question time - which covered same sex marriage and cycling - ended and business moved on to a debate on the security situation in Syria.

The first speaker was Baroness Warsi, who waited for dozens of peers to leave the chamber before telling those remaining that it was an "important debate on Syria and the wider Middle East".
