Connie Hedegaard on CO2 and EU emissions trading scheme

The European Parliament passed a bill that could affect energy bills, by pushing up the price of carbon allowances in the EU's emissions trading scheme.

It aims to make businesses pay for their CO2 emissions, and EU Climate Change Commissioner Connie Hedegaard told Andrew Neil: "We want to put a price on pollution."

But he asked her about the potential effect on European businesses and their international competitors..
