Syria: Liam Fox on Syria vote and Cameron in G20 talks

The government defeat on Syria has left the prime minister "sidelined" at the G20 summit, a former defence secretary has said.

Liam Fox said David Cameron had been "sent into negotiations on Syria with no hand to play, and that is bad for the United Kingdom."

He spoke as as international leaders were arriving in St Petersburg for a G20 meeting, where Syria was expected to dominate the negotiations.
